As we go further into Q4 and a busy congress season across our education platforms, this is a perfect time to reflect on the value of our continued coverage of scientific congresses.
Our dedicated IME (Independent Medical Education) platforms have two key aims. Firstly, educating healthcare professionals on targeted learning gaps identified through robust needs assessments directed by our global steering committees. Secondly, we endeavor to keep healthcare professionals abreast of the latest data across their indication.
To ensure we are keeping up with the latest science, we attend key congresses and design live micro-learning social media campaigns on the highlights and key educational messages. At the congresses, our medical writers attend as many sessions as possible and post live coverage to our social media feeds, sharing key data and news with our followers.
We are frequently the top influencer at the congresses we attend. In this way, we ensure up-to-date medical education is provided to the masses.
Among other activities, September included coverage of the Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO) 2023 Annual Meeting in Houston. With an attendance of over 3,500 dedicated healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and specialists, this year's symposium aimed to explore the latest advances in the pathophysiology and therapy of hematologic malignancies. An extensive range of topics were covered, including leukemias, lymphomas, myeloma, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative neoplasms, related malignancies, and exciting developments in cellular therapy.
