Know AML and Know ALL 2023 awareness initiatives

In September 2023, Know AML marked Blood Cancer Awareness Month; this is a time when people from around the world come together to help raise awareness of blood cancer. 

This year’s campaign, #TalkAML, aimed to empower the acute myeloid leukemia (AML) community by encouraging dialogue around the importance of provision and access to mental health and wellbeing support for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. 

During this time, Know AML reached an impressive 94 countries, received 10,984 page views, and achieved a watch time of 359.8 hours on YouTube. 

On September 20, 2023, Know ALL marked the second World Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) Day; this is a time when patients and caregivers from all around the world come together to help raise awareness of ALL. This year’s campaign aimed to raise awareness of this cancer and educate people on why knowledge of ALL subtypes is important for treatment planning, the different ALL subtypes and how they are classified among the community, and to share their subtype and experience of ALL with others.  

The #WorldALLDay hashtag reached over 174,000 impressions on X, while the Know ALL website reached 44 countries and 2,778 page views.
