Spotlight on professional societies: ESH
July 26, 2023
Across our portfolio of independent medical education (IME) platforms, Scientific Education Support (SES) is proud to deliver education which is curated by global KOLs, informed by patients, and endorsed by renowned professional societies.
Through one such partnership, we have been delighted to benefit from the knowledge and guidance of the European School of Haematology (ESH) across two of our most prominent platforms.
First, we worked together in founding and delivering the Multiple Myeloma Hub in 2017. Following the success of this work, their continued curation and collaboration supported the 2021 launch of The ALL Hub.
ESH, founded in 1985, is a not-for-profit institution working to disseminate information and learning to promote and facilitate access to state-of-the-art and cutting-edge knowledge in hematology and related disciplines.
Currently, ESH believes the most important unmet educational need among hematologists is access to critical discussion and communication with international experts. Like SES, they offer materials to scientists and clinicians free of charge and educate hematologists throughout the world.
Our partnership with ESH extends the reach of our platforms to their over 35,000 annual website users; this ensures we can share education to a wider audience.
ESH works as part of a tripartite group towards the strategic development of the Multiple Myeloma Hub and ALL Hub, in partnership with SES and the hub steering committees. We are also delighted to have ESH President, Hervé Dombret, as co-chair of the ALL Hub, alongside Charles Mullighan and Franco Locatelli.
Also, ESH support and endorse the hub’s activities throughout the year. In partnership with ESH, SES delivers educational activities which aim to enhance knowledge in acute lymphoblastic leukemia and multiple myeloma, through the multichannel dissemination of global advances related to its classification, diagnosis, treatment, and management.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank ESH for their ongoing guidance and collaboration, which supports the delivery of medical education for healthcare professionals worldwide.
