Know Lung Cancer: A new global initiative joins the SES patient program family

SES is proud to introduce Know Lung Cancer , the newest addition to our growing family of global patient education programs. Joining Know AML, Know ALL, and Know GvHD, this latest initiative extends our commitment to providing patients and caregivers with reliable, accessible, and community-driven education — this time for those affected by lung cancer.

A platform built around patient needs

Know Lung Cancer is a comprehensive online resource designed to ensure patients and caregivers feel informed, supported, and empowered. Importantly, the platform recognizes that small cell lung cancer and non-small cell lung cancer are often grouped together, despite significant differences in treatment and approach. Content is therefore carefully divided to ensure every visitor finds the information most relevant to them.

Visitors to the platform will find:

Information on symptoms, diagnosis, testing, treatment, and prognosis
Guidance on side effects, remission, and caregiving
Patient and caregiver stories that bring lived experience to the forefront
Educational resources developed with clinical and advocacy input
Social media engagement to extend reach and support World Lung Cancer Day on August 1

Guided by a global ambassador group

As with our other Know programs, Know Lung Cancer is steered by a dedicated international ambassador group of patients, caregivers, patient advocates, healthcare professionals, and industry representatives. This group ensures every resource reflects both expert insight and authentic lived experience — and endorses all materials before they reach the community.
