Introducing MM in the Know: A new global initiative empowering the multiple myeloma community
April 20, 2026
Meeting patients where they already are
On April 14, 2026, MM in the Know launched as a brand new global education and awareness initiative for the multiple myeloma community. Rather than living on a dedicated website, MM in the Know delivers its content directly through social media — meeting patients, caregivers, and advocates in the spaces where they already connect, learn, and share.

What MM in the Know offers
The initiative provides up-to-date, reliable, and patient-friendly information on multiple myeloma, designed to translate complex science into real, accessible terms. Through Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube, followers can access:
- Short, easily digestible educational content on disease and treatment
- Trusted resources amplified from professional societies, clinicians, and advocacy organizations
- Awareness campaigns developed in collaboration with the global community
- Best-practice information to support multiple myeloma management
Guided by a global ambassador group
At the heart of MM in the Know is a dedicated international ambassador group bringing together patients, caregivers, patient advocates, healthcare professionals, and society representatives. This group proposes awareness initiatives, contributes lived experience and clinical expertise, and endorses all materials before release — ensuring every piece of content is credible, relevant, and genuinely useful.
A growing global network
MM in the Know is proud to collaborate with leading patient organizations including CancerCare, Macmillan Cancer Support, Cancer Support Community, Patient Empowerment Network, and the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, helping extend the reach and impact of trusted education worldwide.
Thank you to Pfizer, the founding supporter of MM in the Know. All content is developed independently by SES in collaboration with an expert ambassador group. Funders are allowed no influence.
