February 2, 2024
A Scientific Education Support and GvHD Hub Symposium: 30 Years of ECP in GvHD: Recommendations for the treatment of cGvHD.
April 14, 2024; 16:30–18:00 BST
50th Annual Meeting of the EBMT; 14-17 April, 2023; Glasgow, UK
In the heart of Glasgow, a medical congress of monumental proportions is on the horizon—the 50th Annual Meeting of the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT). Will you be in attendance?
The SES partnerships team will be attending, alongside our scientific experts in hematologic malignancies, as we facilitate “30 Years of ECP in GvHD: Recommendations for the treatment of cGvHD”, an interactive symposium.
Led by chair of the GvHD Steering Committee, Mohamad Mohty, and including steering committee members Bipin Savani, Florent Malard, and Zinaida Peric, the symposium promises to be a captivating journey through the evolution of ECP in GvHD. For 30 years, ECP has been essential for managing complications arising from hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and this symposium offers a unique opportunity for learners to reflect on its transformative impact.
Topics of discussion will include the long-term burden of GvHD, early interventions, and ECP-based combinations, with learners also given the opportunity to view a case study on ‘ECP for cGVHD: Patient eligibility, treatment optimization, and follow-up’ and to participate in a Q&A session to maximize their learning potential.
Independently created, this interactive symposium offers the potential to bring the hub’s expertise to a live audience in an engaging and varied manner.
This activity is kindly supported by Mallinckrodt through grant funding; however, the supporter has no influence on the content or speaker engagement.
